I have sold the issue on my end: I had four Notes Gmail accounts including iCloud Notes, all syncing cross-device. I have disabled syncing for each account separately, then I re-enabled Notes sync for iCloud only. The app did not crash anymore. Then I started enabling Notes sync for each account separately, and moving all the files into the iCloud Notes folder. Once all my notes from all accounts been moved in iCloud, I disabled Notes sync for the other accounts.
