I have the same issue when I have the Xcode opened but only audio coming from any browser software like safari/chorme... even with last macOS Tahoe update.

@RickMaddy I'm testing with default toolbaritems etc.. but like the other user wrote above @iNick , the effect is far a way that Apple shown at the WWCD
