Same issue on macOS 27 Beta 4 — Hue Sync cannot find my Hue Bridge I am experiencing the same issue on macOS 27 Beta 4. Hue Sync cannot find my Hue Bridge, even though the Mac and the Bridge are on the same home network: My Mac is connected via Wi-Fi (en0), with a local address in the same subnet as the Bridge. dns-sd can discover the Hue Bridge. A direct curl request to the Bridge’s local IP address works. Hue Sync does not appear in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network, and I never receive a Local Network permission prompt. Entering the Bridge’s local IP address manually in Hue Sync also does not work. I completely removed and reinstalled Hue Sync, including its local settings and caches, without any change. Hue Sync incorrectly displays “Ethernet connection” during Bridge discovery, even though macOS shows that Wi-Fi is the only active network interface. When I launch Hue Sync directly from Terminal, I also receive this error repeatedly: HueSDK::Core : BridgeDiscoveryNupnpTask: invalid json, got http status 429 This suggests that Hue Sync is also hitting the Philips Hue online Bridge-discovery service rate limit. However, even after using the Bridge’s known local IP address, Hue Sync still cannot connect. The same Hue Bridge works correctly from an older MacBook on the same network.
