Reply to Images used for Swift Student Challenge
I guess that would depend on what data set the model is trained on. If the data set is sourced from images publicly available on the internet, it’s likely to be trained without the artists’ permission and thus violate copyright laws, although AI art is still new and the rules are still a bit iffy in this area. Try checking the GitHub page or website for the model to see if they mention if their creations are bound to any sort of license.

Reply to Can I make apps that iOS has that option already?
If you mean an app that is similar to an app Apple already offers, such as a reminder app, then sure. But please keep in mind that you cannot simply copy Apple's Reminders (or any of their apps) or other apps on the App Store, and tweak it a bit, then publish that. Per the App Store Submission Guideline: 4.1 Copycats Come up with your own ideas. We know you have them, so make yours come to life. Don’t simply copy the latest popular app on the App Store, or make some minor changes to another app’s name or UI and pass it off as your own. In addition to risking an intellectual property infringement claim, it makes the App Store harder to navigate and just isn’t fair to your fellow developers. So simply put, do not copy an existing app with minimal changes, have one or two exclusive features that really make it appealing to users of other reminder apps, for example. Hope this helps. Best of luck!

Per Apple's terms and conditions for WWDC23: Legal guardians of developers under 13 years of age in the United States or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction (for example, under 16 years of age in the European Union) may request permission for their child to apply by sending an email to (see below). Permission may be granted at Apple's discretion. The email address is swift student challenge @ apple .com. without the spaces. (For some reason I can't send the reply without the spaces) So you may have a chance of entering if you send an email! You would not be the first to attend as a person under 13 years of age either, as there have been previous winners like Ashwat Prasanna who attended when he was only 11!

Reply to Is there a disadvantage to applying to attend WWDC from multiple accounts?
Here's what Apple's website says: Requests to attend are accepted until April 4 at 9:00 a.m. PDT from: Current Apple Developer Program members Apple Entrepreneur Camp alumni Swift Student Challenge winners (2020 to 2022) 2023 Challenge applicants can opt in to be included in a separate random selection process for winners when they submit their app playground. Current Apple Developer Enterprise Program members Given this info, I wouldn't request to attend from the other Apple ID since it would be the same as applying from your Apple Developer account. Only 2023 Challenge applicants would have a different probability of winning the lottery. It may also disqualify you from the lottery altogether. I hope your request gets accepted and have a fun WWDC23!

Reply to How strict are the version requirements?
I don’t know how strict the requirements are, but you can downgrade by connecting your iPad to Finder (on a Mac), or iTunes (on Windows), downloading the 14.2.2. IPSW file for your device from ipsw.me and click down “Restore” while holding down Shift, and select the IPSW file, then restore. All data will be lost though. If you have a friend or family member that has an iPad on a non-beta version, you could test it on that.
