Hey guys, I faced the same issue recently. Some app users reported that they couldn’t open the enterprise app or trust the certificate after updating to iOS 18.5. They uninstalled the app and repeatedly tried to trust the certificate, but it didn’t work.
Here’s the fix: I used Apple Configurator (a Mac app) to list all provisioning profiles on the problematic iOS device. Then I removed all profiles related to the enterprise app, deleted the app, rebooted the iPhone, and redownloaded the app. Boom! It worked.
My hypothesis: iOS 18+ might have a bug where it uses incorrect provisioning profiles for verification. Removing them forced the device to download the correct certificate and profile. Hope this helps!
