Sorry, I'm a complete rookie here. Should those print statements be inside the @IBAction func buttonPressed? tried that and got all sorts of errors.

I just updated the button style in the original project from plain to default - That fixed it!! Thank you- this was really going to bother me if I couldn't move on. Now i need to understand the difference between "plain" and "default". I appreciate your help on this.

It's via cell selection via the "didSelectRowAt" delegate at the very bottom of the code.
