Just fyi I circumvent this problem in creating the tabBarViewController programmatically instead of initially having the tabbar defined in a storyboard with ref to other storyboards for its child. Maybe this could help some of you if you are in the same situation

Does anybody have an answer from Apple about this issue ? I have a standard implementation of a uitabbarcontroller with child vc containing collection view and if I press back after scrolling down, the app exits instead of going up focusing on the tabbar menu item. How to circumvent ?

We have exactly the same issue in production for a TV app. User are facing the problem you described since 18.4 and report problems on app store...

Hi all, same here with iOS 18.4 beta ... there were already some issues with iOS 16 and HDMI connection using lightning HDMI accessory. One could suppose Apple obsoletes this use case. Our TV Service customers are not really happy of the situation.

Same issue we have a lot of customers complaining about this issue in our TV Fairplay streaming app on 16.1 and 16.1.1. For most of them a reboot is ok. For some the problem remains after rebooting their device. CoreMediaErrorDomain: -12913 I don't know if it's related but since iOS 16 we have also problem with HDMI casting on TV with Fairplay streaming content...

Hi, thanks for your answer this error is raised when we try to load a live hls fairplay stream. The client solves the issue in resetting is iPhone. He was not able to watch any fairplay content from other French content application. His iPhone was a new iPhone 13 / iOS 15. Fairplay DRM init error ? Best regards Cédric
