Comment on Terminal Command to get the same file count as Get Info in finder
Hi Quinn, Yes I have looked down the applescript route and found it too slow for our needs. Thanks for the clarity on not being able to copy the Finder file count exactly, we will look into other methods for an efficient folder comparison for large directories. Thanks, James

*** Update *** Tried running it on a clean machine and it did not fix. If you could send me a code snippet or a link to a tutorial of just the bit to trigger the consent dialog I would really appreciate it thanks i'm struggling to find this.

I also want to make sure that by MAC Check is that the consent dialog that pops up? I don't want a file picker dialog.
