Neither do I. When we ask our team members in Hong Kong to test it, it's okay; however, when in China mainland, it's not working at all. Nonetheless, I see the demo of apple at https://developer.apple.com/maps/sample-code/embedded-map/index.html works properly with 高德地图(Amap) instead of  on the left lower corner. I guess Apple did not grant some certain kinds of access to Amap version mapkit js to us😂 since there may be strict reguations in China mainland😅.
