@Systems Engineer Thank you for your response. Since the VPN app is not running, we cannot disconnect the VPN from the app itself. We must disconnect from the Network Extension. This issue has become a significant roadblock for us, and we haven't found a workaround yet. We are also uncertain if this will be addressed in iOS 18. Could you suggest a possible solution to this problem?

@eskimo in which order CFHost return the IP addresses? is happy Eye Ball algorithm implemented behind the scene for CFHostGetAddressing or getaddrinfo. Note: I can not use connect-by-name API. is there a way connect-by-name API could result a same IP address in DNS Load balance environment for some definite time? What I am suspecting here is connect by name API could result in different IP address, If I make 2 subsequent DNS query one after another in DNS load balancer environment.
