Yes, "crashing", sorry about the typo. The device is running the public beta before iOS 26 was officially released in september. I am using a view modifier to apply glass effect.

Yes, the code runs perfectly on all major versions of iOS 26, except for the pre-release public beta. I am not actually the one using that version, it's a user, but someone i know personally. He reported the issue to me that his app crushes on start up. Even after shipping various updates the issue was still the same. so i requested a meetup with him, added his device to my development devices and run the app from xcode. that's how i discovered the issue was from the modifier.
