I just downloaded the iOS 18 Beta and was surprised to find that the autocorrect function with multi-language keyboards doesn't seem to work at all. I use a Swedish and a German keyboard in combination with English. SV/DE are depending on letters like "ä" and "ö" a lot, which used to be shown in the iOS 17 versions of the keyboards. But now these keys are gone and the keyboards look like the default English-keyboard instead. This wouldn't be much of an issue if the auto-correct could suggest options of the words I'm trying to type when typed with a simple "a" or "o." But that doesn't seem to work. Instead it presumes I'm trying to type an English word and auto-corrects it, often to a completely different word. So I'm forced to use the long-press and slide on letters, where I can find alterations of the letters "a" and "o".
I also never seemed to have an issue with this on iOS 17. When using the normal Swedish keyboard it would still understand when I was interjecting an English word in the middle of a message and never really gave me trouble. Hope this can be corrected in coming updates.
