That's what I'm trying to figure out as well? Are we allowed to update an extension bundle identifier manually? Seems like it only takes what's in the General Tab on the Widget extension and not what's in the plist.

The low volume audio issue is being tracked as a webkit bug: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=230902 It has been assigned to an Apple engineer - but I'm thinking the more comments are added on that webkit bug the more noticeable it will get.
