Comment on Need help learning security and persistence for Swift!!!
Hello Quinn! I'm sorry for the late reply I just found out somebody answered my request!!! I decided to take up an online course for OWASP and Java and am hoping to find ways to apply my knowledge into Swift (of course the cyber security practices, not the code!) Thankfully it has helped me to do what I need so far. You seem quite knowledgeable in this field! Do you believe this is a good idea? Thanks again! - Mousa

Comment on How would you approach an Encryption Key being leaked?
Hello, thank you very much for the response. I took the system off of Stack Overflow as I felt it did a pretty good job with Firebase encryption. Indeed, I will be hiding the encryption keys outside my app (ie. through keychain.) I read the article you gave and indeed having "hardcoded and unencrypted cloud service credentials" is wrong but does this apply to the encryption system itself (or simply the key)? "Don’t ever try to invent your own encryption scheme" - can you point me to a good one?
