I’ve unfortunately been experiencing this as well. Plugable, the creator of the dock I’m using, posted about the issue and a possible workaround until Apple fixes the issue. https://kb.plugable.com/thunderbolt-3-docks/kernel-panic-when-connecting-the-dock-to-my-macbook-pro-16 The workaround they suggested is to unplug HDMI displays before you plug the thunderbolt cable into the laptop and then plug the displays back in. haven’t tested this out yet but thought I would share.
