I have two Asus PG32UCDM3's and have the exact same issue with my M5 MacBook Pro but only my M5. My M4 Mac mini is just fine and so is my older Intel based MacBook...its only the M5. The M5 assigns the same name to both monitors while the M4 and Intel MacBook assign different names to each.
