Yeah that's the one thing that usually gives me trouble with Swift/SwiftUI, I find the thing I need but then can't find any explanation about how it works or even a basic example. I also wish they'd cover SwiftUI on macOS more; I do a lot of it and a at least a decent number of their examples are really designed for iOS only and either have properties that don't work on macOS or just don't look right.
