Reply to The push notification icon is still displaying the old version
We're still seeing this in 2026 on our production app. The new app icon is correct everywhere — Assets, App Store listing, Home Screen — but the push notification icon still shows the previous icon for a subset of users. Reinstalling doesn't reliably fix it; a device restart sometimes does, sometimes doesn't. This isn't something we can reasonably ask every user to do. Has anyone found a developer-side workaround, or is there any update or timeline on a permanent fix?
