I was able to fix this!!! I have used every trick on this thread for the past few months with no luck, and I finally stumbled upon a woman who said she just turned off her cellular data and made sure she was running off of just wifi and it worked!! Both are updating! And my watch is a series 1 and I have an iPhone 11 But yeah! Hope it helps!
