Thanks. To clarify, no app is involved. The accessory is a standard USB ECM Ethernet adapter providing system-wide DHCP and IPv4/IPv6. It works while the iPhone is awake. After locking, iOS suspends USB, traffic stops, and Ethernet may disappear from Settings; it returns on wake. Is this expected iOS behavior? Is there a supported way to keep USB Ethernet active, or wake it for incoming traffic, while the iPhone is locked?
