After desperately fighting with the connection to the watch device, and after trying all suggested solutions, this post did really help me: After I disabled Bluetooth on the iPhone, I had a stable connection and could - after weeks of frustration - start developing on the watch device. Thanks a lot. PS: I simply cannot believe that the Apple engineers never encountered this problem.
