Crash in PDFView / PDFPageAnalyzerV2
Hello. Some users of my app experience crashes that mention PDFKit. I managed to find out what specific PDF file caused the crash and created a sample that demonstrates the issue and created a bug report in Feedback Assistant (FB22409977). Unfortunately I didn't get any answer for over a month, hence I'm writing it here so others can see that this is a known issue. The crash repro sample is very simple, it's just a PDFView that opens a bundled PDF file upon application lanunch. To cause the crash it is only needed to zoom-in and move around the page that has a table. The crash happens when the system tries to do some sort of OCR. The original crash report came from iPhone 11 user running iOS 26.3.1. Recently another user with iPhone 16 Pro Max running 26.5 experienced the same crash. "StoreKit Testing in Xcode" certificate is not trusted on iOS 26
Hello. I have setup a StoreKit testing in the app that was and still is perfectly working on iOS 18. Unfortunately when run on iOS 26 the following error gets printed in the console after calling Transaction.currentEntitlement(for:) method: Failed to verify certificate chain due to client recoverable failure: Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-67843 "“StoreKit Testing in Xcode” certificate is not trusted" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=“StoreKit Testing in Xcode” certificate is not trusted, NSUnderlyingError=0x109de7e10 {Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-67843 "Certificate 0 “StoreKit Testing in Xcode” has errors: Root is not trusted;" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Certificate 0 “StoreKit Testing in Xcode” has errors: Root is not trusted;}}} I'm not seeting any StoreKit Testing certificates in phone's certificate trust settings. This test was performed on iOS 26.0 (23A341) with app built in Xcode 16.4. FB20339145

SpeechAnalyzer / AssetInventory and preinstalled assets
During testing the “Bringing advanced speech-to-text capabilities to your app” sample app demonstrating the use of iOS 26 SpeechAnalyzer, I noticed that the language model for the English locale was presumably already downloaded. Upon checking the documentation of AssetInventory, I found out that indeed, the language model can be preinstalled on the system. Can someone from the dev team share more info about what assets are preinstalled by the system? For example, can we safely assume that the English language model will almost certainly be already preinstalled by the OS if the phone has the English locale?

iOS 18 Translation API availability for UIKit
After reading the documentation for TranslationSession and other API methods I got an impression that it will not be possible to use the Translation API with UI elements built with UIKit. You don’t instantiate this class directly. Instead, you obtain an instance of it by adding a translationTask(_:action:) or translationTask(source:target:action:) function to the SwiftUI view containing the content you want to translate So the main question I have to the engineers of mentioned framework is will there be any support for UIKit or app developers will have to rewrite their apps in SwiftUI just to be able to use the Translation API?
