Please ignore the follow reply. here is my newer update: However, the same code has no problem in the App by the newer Xcode version's build, and the image is saved locally, and the image passed in by the code calling this function exists. I think there should be no crash here under any force unwrapping, so the forced unwrapping should be safe here.
