I'm experiencing the same issue. It's a known issue from Xcode that Apple somehow pushed through QA. This happens to me at least once per hour throughout the day. For now I'm going back to Xcode 13 until there's a fix for the horrendous Xcode 14.

I'm having the same issue, and from poking around Facebook groups we're not alone. I'm not sure how Apple can really mess something up so badly (let alone have it pass QA), but it's incredibly frustrating for someone who develops for a living. I'm constantly waiting for Xcode to compile, the build system crashes at least twice per hour, and when typing it's incredibly laggy to the point where I can't even continue working. Apple needs to fix this, ASAP. It's unacceptable. This is on both an M1 Pro MacBook Pro 2021, and an Intel MacBook Pro 2019.
