Same issue here so what I did was and I hope this will also work for you: Uninstall the Watch app then reinstall it again Turn ON the Low Power Mode Settings>Cellular>Turn OFF Wi-Fi Assist Restart the iPhone Try pairing it EDIT: Also make sure your phone is running the latest ios
