Although I have reduced my Mac's MTU to solve the MTU blackhole problem, Safari is quite slow if I enabled iCloud private relay (scenario 1). At the same time, Chrome functions normally. When I turns off iCloud private relay, the Safari's performance improves immediately. Packets captured by tcpdump at a LAN gateway (FreeBSD) shows iCloud private relay uses UDP protocol and doesn't fallback to TCP protocol. If the MTU blackhole is a problem, the connection will switch to TCP protocol, given prior tcpdump captures. I am waiting for macOS 27 Beta 5 but still no update released yet.

Hello, I am a tech guy. I have a site-to-site IPsec tunnel connection two gateways. Behind one of them is my Mac. I found iCloud private relay still send me packets larger than expected. For instance, according to my testing via Scapy, my TCP packets can have a MTU of 1280, given IPsec tunnel is activated. Also, ICMP showed a maximum payload of 1252. I have tried to reduce my Mac's MTU from 1500 to 1280. But still, iCloud private relay servers send me packets larger than 1280, according to tcpdump captured data. Therefore, I wonder, are there any ways to make both iCloud private relay and IPsec work at the same time. Thanks.

I am on macOS 27 Developer Beta 3 but I think this issue also exists on other public released macOS systems. The problem is, if I enable PF (via sudo pfctl -E), the iCloud private relay becomes unavailable. This issue was confirmed after I disable PF, after which private relay turned green (functioning normally) immediately. Therefore, I wonder is there anyway to let the both exist concurrently? Thanks.

I found I must zoom out the PDF so all area was displayed on the screen before Siri AI could scan the area and outline information from the PDF. If we have two pages, one page would be omitted by Siri AI. I am not sure if this the normal of Siri which it is supposed to be. Screenshot below. PS: Zooming out makes my human eyes unusable.
