I've been trying to replicate a smudged lens by placing translucent tupperware in front of the lens to simulate a smudged lens (if that makes any sense at all). I'll submit a feature request. We'd really like to incorporate smudge detection in our app, but just can't reliably test it. I even - and I can't believe I'm writing this ha - put some butter on the lens of my phone to try to trigger it in the default camera app, and it didn't trigger.

Apologies, should have mentioned the OS. I'm trying to access this on iOS 18. The docs do state its API is available in iOS 18+.
