Reply to Issue with UIActivityViewController Not Showing X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook Icons When Sharing Images on iOS 26 Beta
I also noticed that when sharing photos or videos directly from Apple’s built-in apps like Photos, the icons for X and Facebook appear properly. So it seems the issue is limited to third-party apps using UIActivityViewController. What’s especially confusing is that my implementation of UIActivityViewController follows the standard pattern — it’s almost textbook code. I haven’t excluded X or Facebook explicitly, and as far as I know, there haven’t been any changes to UIActivityViewController in iOS 26 that would explain this behavior. It’s definitely puzzling.

Thank you for your response. Just to clarify, I actually submitted this issue via Feedback Assistant back in late June, and I haven’t received any response yet. The Feedback ID is FB18367601. Since the issue still persists even in iOS 26 Beta 3, I decided to also post it here on the Developer Forums in hopes of gathering more insights or confirmation from others experiencing the same behavior. I appreciate your suggestion, and I’ll continue to monitor the Feedback Assistant for any updates. Also, thanks for the note about the “formerly Twitter” phrasing — I’ll keep that in mind going forward!

The issue has been confirmed to be resolved in iOS 26 Developer Beta 9 (Public Beta 6), so we will consider this matter closed.
