Same problem MacBook Pro 16, 2019 Monterey including the latest update. I bought a Selore dock that uses two USB C connectors, same issue. I'm using a Samsung C34H89x 4K UHD monitor, originally via USB C, now via that dock with HDMI. Problem does seem to come and go. Gold plated high end cables, don't seem to make any difference.
