You're not crazy, definitely happening on iOS. IG constantly tweaks their in-app browser and breaks direct store links. Using a smart redirect tool like Launchinseconds usually fixes it since it loads a light web page before pushing to the store, but yeah, super annoying when Meta breaks basic routing.
