I've been having the same kind of problems for two months on my MacBook Pro. It started with the following error message: "Volume Hash mismatch. Hash mismaatch detected on the disk volume." I ignored this message for a while and then my Mac started doing untimely restarts due to "CPU Panic" I wiped the disks and then reinstalled the OS twice, once myself, once through the Genius Bar and yet today, with a reset Mac and without reinstalling my Time Machine backup the problem starts again. Apple support can't help me, they analyzed the computer but no hardware problem is involved (I imagined a problem with the memory...). I'm going to test several configurations with and without some of the software I use to see if there are any compatibility issues, versioning, etc..... If I find something I'll post it here, if you are making progress I'm interested to know your solutions. Good luck!
