Unfortunately, pub industry standard requires "Times New Roman" or "Courier". I would normally fake it by making a font for it, but I don't have the time or money and then insist that the publisher/agents have it too. So I'm trying to cook up something that works with pinyin. (Honestly, Garamond is a better font, but I'd have to resurrect the ghost of Steve Jobs for him to lecture to the publishing industry on why they should quit TNS12 and use a unicode-friendly Garamond.)

I did. They kicked me to here because I'm on Tahoe and thus they said I was giving away company secrets about Tahoe and then summarily locked the thread and deleted it. But thanks for the loop error with no clue how to fix the base issue. We removed your post “Times New Roman superscript & Unicode font fallback on Tahoe because it contained information about beta software. I'm saying we should be able to set the default Unicode font.
