Hello Quinn,
I’m experiencing a similar issue with Xcode Cloud and an Individual Apple Developer account. My feedback report is FB24691200, submitted on September 7, 2026. Developer Support directed me to this forum.
My cloud-managed Apple Distribution certificate’s Common Name contains the Turkish characters ı (U+0131) and ş (U+015F).
Every Xcode Cloud build I have tried is rejected by App Store Connect with ITMS-90035: “Code failed to satisfy specified code requirement(s).” The error affects the main app executable and two embedded frameworks re-signed during cloud signing. The export itself reports success.
Builds signed outside Xcode Cloud for the same app and team have passed validation.
In my investigation:
The certificate’s Common Name decodes correctly as UTF-8.
The designated requirement shown in the cloud-signing logs contains the expected name.
Compiling that requirement locally with csreq preserves the characters’ UTF-8 bytes.
However, that local test does not establish whether the final cloud-signed binary contains a Unicode-normalization mismatch, so I have not confirmed the root cause.
Could you help determine whether FB24691200 is related to FB24633162, and which diagnostic artifact would best establish that?
I also saw your recommendation to ask Developer Programs to remove non-ASCII characters from the team name. Is this workaround available for an Individual membership without changing the account holder’s legal name? If so, how should I request it, and what is the recommended process for replacing the existing cloud-managed distribution certificate afterward?
I can provide signing logs and available build artifacts privately through Feedback Assistant.
Thank you.
