Ok, I had to look up how to do SortOrders and got your example to work, but it is not what I need, since I cannot edit the date, but since it no longer complained about record not being in scope, I should be able to adjust things.

I’ll check that out later, as your example seems to be a bit different from any that Apple provided for table docs, which seems to supply the data source right to the table, except for a way to link things back to the item in question.
