Has there been any new confirmed solution for obtaining PCM data from HLS streams under the current circumstances? I attempted to use AVPlayerItemSampleBufferOutput, which worked on the simulator but failed to retrieve data on a physical device. Is this a bug, or does the physical device require additional configuration?
