So Microsoft currently has no public plans to support the automatic registration of Macs with Entra using PSSO. I opened a support ticket with Microsoft and was told this again this week. Automatic registration would be a requirement for us to be able to move from binding to AD for using PSSO on Shared Macs such as Labs. Its just on possible to go around an manually register 400+ Shared Macs with Entra and Entra only allows you to have 20 Macs registered under a single Entra user account.

We shouldn't have to do this manually. The Device Management server should be able to get these new tokens directly from Apple Business/School.

We have issues where lab Macs don't run DDM software updates when no user has logged in since the Mac was last rebooted FB17496115. Can we please have this fixed in macOS 27 as the only way we can update the Macs currently is with the old MDM download, install, and restart now command that's being removed from macOS 27.
