Some additional facts I missed: On the developer portal, under Automatic Signing Controls, I have tried with all options off, and all options enabled ("Only members with the Account Holder, Admin, or App Manager can register devices, register new App IDs, modify existing App IDs.) I get the same errors either way. I tried uploading the log file as a .txt, but it looks like it ate some formatting - my apologies. The auto-generated App IDs do show up on the portal. (as XC:..)
