[MDM] Camera remains disabled after removing camera restriction profile on iOS 27.0.1
Hello, I'm a developer of an MDM solution that we provide to multiple companies. Issue On iOS 27.0.1, the camera is not re-enabled after the camera restriction is lifted. We use a configuration profile to disable the camera (allowCamera = false). After the profile is removed, the Camera app should become available again, but it stays disabled. What we've confirmed The issue was first reported by a customer. I was then able to reproduce it on my own test device running the same iOS version (27.0.1). The restriction profile is no longer installed on the device. No profile remains under Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. The customer has Screen Time enabled. On my test device, restarting the device resolved the issue. On the customer's device, the issue persists even after restarting. Questions Is this a known issue in iOS 27.0.1? Could Screen Time (Content & Privacy Restrictions) keep the camera disabled after the MDM restriction is removed? Is there a recommended way to fully restore the camera, either on the device or from the MDM side? Any guidance or workaround would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Since iOS 18.1, the color of Alert buttons has been affected by the tint modifier.
I used .tint(.yellow) to change the default back button color. However, I noticed that the color of the alert button text, except for .destructive, also changed. Is this a bug or Apple’s intended behavior? Thank you! Below is my code: // App struct tintTestApp: App { var body: some Scene { WindowGroup { MainView() .tint(.yellow) } } // MainView var mainContent: some View { Text("Next") .foregroundStyle(.white) .onTapGesture { isShowingAlert = true } .alert("Go Next View", isPresented: $isShowingAlert) { Button("ok", role: .destructive) { isNextButtonTapped = true } Button("cancel", role: .cancel){} } }
