I added a reply but hasn't shown up. Trying again... How do I know if my app is sandboxed? If it is, what steps would I have to take to allow my parent process to run a child process? Parent here is electron with a node layer where I spawn the child. Works local on my MacBook but of course there's a security/permission issue when it's installed on the machine. And, if my app is not sandboxed, what steps would I need to take? The app gets packaged as DMG and then installed.

I don't know. How would I determine this? It's an electron app that I've built and then packaged into an DMG and installed on my local test Mac. I think launch the app via the Applications folder.
