Turns out that my case seems to have been caused by this: https://github.com/lottie-react-native/lottie-react-native/issues/1111 I still cannot confirm for sure because I'm preparing a hotfix and then will need to hear from the users, but everything indicates this is the actual cause :) Maybe this helps someone else having a similar issue.
