I upgraded SourceTree this morning and the problem started. The upgrade added: [safe] bareRepository = explicit to ~/.gitconfig. I removed it and Xcode worked again. A bug has been filed with Atlassian. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREE-8176
