We are trying to find responsive users who we can do additional testing with, but most are understandably frustrated by the issue and unwilling to cooperate further. If we do find production user(s) who are willing to work with us to acquire more information, what would you recommend? I assume there's no easy way to get them on the RoomPlan example app?

I believe that is temporary and would only impact features like Liquid Glass that are opt-in based on the SDKs you've built against. The windowing changes are being applied to our apps even if we're still building with Xcode 16.

In the session Elevate the design of your iPad app, they say "Every app that supports multitasking now shows a handle in the bottom right corner." This suggests that there is still a way to opt out of multitasking and the windowing experience. If UIRequiresFullScreen is deprecated, and apps will soon be required to adopt UIScene-based lifecycle, what are they referring to?

Thanks for the quick reply! This is looking much better on iPadOS 18 beta 6. The transition from View Controller 1 to View Controller 2 is fluid and the safe area insets look correct. I am still seeing a slight issue during the push transition from View Controller 2 to View Controller 3. View Controller 2's background is briefly visible in the top bar area before it abruptly disappears and the nav bar size jumps to its new position.
