Hello! Users of my app observed behaviour that some apps stopped working after update to 15.7.8 via Beta channel with transparent proxy network extension on. The app receives Protocol not available error, and I see setsockopt SO_FLOW_DIVERT_TOKEN failed [42: Protocol not available] error in Console. To reproduce, create two rules in basic NETransparentProxyProvider: [[NENetworkRule alloc] initWithDestinationNetwork:nil prefix:0 protocol:NENetworkRuleProtocolTCP], [[NENetworkRule alloc] initWithDestinationNetwork:nil prefix:0 protocol:NENetworkRuleProtocolUDP], You may even return NO in handleNewFlow, it does not matter. After that, Safari won't open some sites, and Weather app will work unreliably. Do anyone knows any workaround for this problem? I've also create a relevant FB23788740.

I develop transparent proxy based application, and I'm receiving a lot of crash reports from macOS 15.5 for crash in __88-[NEExtensionAppProxyProviderContext setInitialFlowDivertControlSocket:extraValidation:]_block_invoke.90 when stopping. Even very old versions of my software started crashing on macOS 15.5. I checked my extension that it correctly calls setTunnelNetworkSettings:nil on proxy stop, but crash is still here. Does anybody else have this problem? Do you know any workaround for it?

Hello! I'm developing NETransparentProxyProvider which started to work unexpectedly on macOS 15. Seems that iCloud Private Relay is not auto-disabled anymore in favor of another filtering software, when Firewall is enabled in macOS 15. Disabling firewall immediately restores old behavior. To reproduce this issue, you need to enable both iCloud Private Relay and Firewall. Then, Safari will always try to use iCloud Private Relay, even if Transparent Proxy has "destinationAddress:nil" rule. Every connection from Safari will be to "mask.icloud.com" over HTTP/3. Connections inside are not visible as separate flows. Since I have excludedRule for "icloud.com" (to not to alter Apple services), Safari traffic is just stopped to be processed. Is new behavior is expected or some type of regression?
