An optical cable haven't got enough bandwidth to transmit 6 channels of PCM audio. It can only do 6 channels of AC3 or DTS. I don't remember if the AppleTV will automatically convert it to AC3 if you set it to do so in the AppleTV settings.

Feral Interactive Hitman 2016 port had the same issue, because the application name contained the ™ character. But on macOS 11.3 beta 2 I can run it, so probably it has been fully or partially fixed (tested only on AMD gpu).

Is your costumer's 4k monitor set to a Hi-DPI mode or not? Try to use the NSWindow backingScaleFactor property, mainScreen could return a different screen. Could be a 10.14.1 bug, any reason to be on that buggy version?

Add another message to your xpc to stop the process. In your process images method you probably have a loop, in this loop check the state of a "cancelled" variable, and use another method to set this "cancelled" variable to true.
