Unfortunately, me too, on iPhone 13 mini. Did not try the 12 mini.

Xcode 12.4 supports iOS14.4 and earlier. Xcode 12.5 supports iOS14.5. Try searching Stackoverflow for xcode 12.4 unsupported version.
