I am on macOS project, and I do not see the Mail Extension template there. Should I just create an empty macOS project?

Has this been added recently? Our customers are moving towards outlook mac and I really wish I could give them the ability to stay with Apple Mail, the outlook AddIn is a game changer and I think that if this feature exists in Mail Extensions it would be great.
