Thanks @Palli_k, I don't know if there's any better/correct way of doing it but using: ZStack { AccessoryWidgetBackground() [...] } .widgetBackground(backgroundView: EmptyView()) At least seems to get rid of the error. While keeping the functionality and UI the same..
