Additional tip: make sure bluetooth is enabled on your macbook, needed for WatchOS. Had the problem this morning again, and realized after an hour or so that BT was off.

Ok apparently the verifyReceipt is deprecated a few days a go. Is it a coincidence that it's not working anymore or is there a relation with the deprecation? Maybe Apple want to 'motivate' users this way to move to the new API
