Actually it's fixed with Beta 4 - you need to use cornerConfiguration on the UIVisualEffectView after applying the effect

@tclark thanks for pointing us to the request form but the link is broken, was the requirement lifted or did the link change? we also couldn't find any working link in the apple documentation as it's pointing to the same broken link
