I also am having the same issue currently... I submitted my app last week on Monday (8/3) and now being Wednesday (8/12) my app still hasn't been reviewed. This is not very typical of Apple since last year when i submitted my first app it took Apple 3-5 days for it to get reviewed, and my second app I remember only took them 2 days. I believe this is happening to us and other developers because there has been a huge increase in the number of apps being submitted to the App Store recently with the rise in popularity of AI coding software and agents such as Cursor and Claude Code. From what I'm guessing Apple is probably drowning in app submissions and will most likely be taking this long to review apps for a while.. The situation is honestly pretty frustrating for me since usually Apple doesn't approve my first submissions, but hopefully it's not something that lasts forever.
